Frequently Asked
Reservations & Seating
Do I need a reservation? You're always welcome to walk in, and we'll seat you as quickly as we can. That said, we recommend a reservation for dinner Thursday through Saturday, for weekend brunch, and any evening you're celebrating something. A reservation lets us plan for you rather than squeeze you in.
How far in advance should I book? A day or two is plenty for a weeknight. For Friday and Saturday evenings and for holidays like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and New Year's Eve — we'd ask for at least a week. Holiday reservations tend to fill quickly, so earlier is always better.
How long will you hold my table? We hold reserved tables for 15 minutes past the reservation time. If you're running late, one quick call and we'll do everything we can to keep it for you. Life happens; we understand traffic on Camp Wisdom.
Can I request a specific table or server? Absolutely — note it when you book and we'll do our best. We can't guarantee specific seating or server, but we'll always try, especially for special occasions.
What if I need to cancel? Just let us know as far ahead as you can. For parties of [12] or more, we ask for at least [24 hours] notice so we can offer the table to another guest.
How long may we keep the table? For most tables and as long as we don’t have a wait, as long as you'd like — we're not in the business of rushing a good evening. However during our busiest weekend seatings reservations of 6 or more do have a two hour time limit.
Celebrations & Outside Desserts
May I bring my own cake or dessert? Yes, and we're glad to be part of the celebration. We ask that outside cakes and desserts come from a licensed bakery, and that you let us know when you make your reservation so we can plan for refrigeration, space, and timing.
Is there a fee? Yes. We charge a $25 dessert service fee. It covers refrigerated storage, plating, cutting and serving, and clearing — the same care our own desserts receive. We know a fee on something you brought yourself can feel surprising, so here's the honest reasoning: cutting and serving a cake takes a server away from the floor for the length of your celebration, and it uses our plates, our silver, our linens, and our dish room. The fee lets us do it properly rather than reluctantly.
Can we bring balloons, flowers, or decorations? Small touches are welcome — flowers for the table, a framed photo, a small centerpiece. We ask that you skip confetti, glitter, sparklers, and anything that attaches to walls or ceilings. For anything larger, please talk with us first, or consider our private dining space where you'll have room to do it right.
Dress Code
Is there a dress code? Yes, and it changes with the hour. During the day — lunch, happy hour, and weekend brunch — come exactly as you are. Casual and comfortable is perfect. After 5:00 p.m., and all day Friday and Saturday, we ask for smart casual. Think of it as dressing for a night out: a collared shirt, a blouse, a nice pair of jeans, a dress. Nothing formal, nothing fussy — just a little intention.
What isn't appropriate for evening service? We kindly ask guests to avoid athletic wear and jerseys, tank tops or sleeveless undershirts, house shoes and slides, swimwear, excessively distressed clothing, and anything overly revealing. Hats are welcome; we simply ask that they suit the occasion.
Why do you have a dress code at all? Because the room changes at night. The lights come down, the music comes up, and our guests are often marking something — an anniversary, a birthday, a first date. The dress code isn't about keeping anyone out. It's about protecting the evening everyone came here for.
What happens if I show up underdressed? We'll always try to seat you. Our team may quietly offer alternatives — a seat at the bar. We handle these conversations with discretion, and we'd never embarrass a guest at the door. Final seating decisions rest with our management team.
Large Parties & Gratuity
How many people can you seat together? We can comfortably seat large parties of up to 25 guests. We also offer private dining experiences for large groups or special occasions.
Do large parties need to book differently? Parties of [12] or more should call us directly at (972) 803-6360 rather than booking online, so we can arrange the right table and talk through timing. For groups of [20] or more, we may ask for a [limited menu / pre-selected menu] — it keeps the kitchen in rhythm and gets everyone's food out together and hot. If you are looking for a private dining option, please speak with a manager or inquire through our website.
Is gratuity automatically added? A [20%] service charge is added to parties of [6] or more. It goes to the team who took care of you. For all other tables, gratuity is entirely at your discretion.
Can we split the check? Of course. We're happy to split evenly or by seat — just let your server know before ordering rather than after, and it'll go much more smoothly for everyone.
Private Dining, Catering & Events
Do you host private events? We do. Rehearsal dinners, milestone birthdays, repasts, corporate dinners, showers, holiday parties — we've hosted them all, and we treat each one like it's the only thing happening that night.
How many guests can you accommodate privately? Our private space seats [100] guests and can be fully private. If you have less guests, not to worry as we can partition the room.
Is there a minimum? Yes — food and beverage minimums vary by day and time of year. Please contact Mo to discuss.
How do I book? Submit a private party form on our website with your date, guest count, and what you're celebrating. We'll send menus and a proposal, usually within 48 hours.
How far in advance should I book a private event? Four to six weeks is comfortable for most events. November and December book earliest — if you're planning a holiday party, reach out by early fall.
Do you cater off-site? Yes. We cater to homes, offices, churches, and event venues throughout the Dallas area, with drop-off and full-service options. Call us with your date, headcount, and location, and we'll build a menu around your budget.
For Private Parties We love hosting private parties! Menu and time dictate the price per person minimum. Private parties require a deposit of $250+ depending on size to reserve your space, this will be applied to your final bill. The number of guests listed at time of deposit collection is the contracted minimum. If you need to cancel your reservation, your deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel 2 weeks+ prior to your reservation date, the amount of your deposit is available as a store credit and will be issued in the form of a single gift card. If you cancel within 2 weeks of your reservation date, your deposit is forfeited.
Live Music, Happy Hour & Brunch

When do you serve brunch? Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It's our most relaxed service of the week — come casual, stay a while.
Do you have a bar? Is it full service? We have a full bar featuring craft cocktails, a curated wine selection, and popular beer. Walk-ins are always welcome at the bar, and you can order the full menu there.
Do you take walk-ins at the bar? Always. The bar is first come, first served.
Can I bring my own wine? No

Please tell us about any allergy when you book and again when you order — we'd rather hear it twice than not at all.
